Manufacturing Engineer

Mueller Water Products is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for their Decatur, Illinois facility. The Manufacturing Engineer will develop, define, and implement new technology and improvements to manufacturing processes, reducing manufacturing costs and implementing new products into manufacturing.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree required in an engineering-related field
• Two plus years of experience in a manufacturing environment involving high speed machining, automation, welding, and assembly
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with all levels of employees, customers, and outside professionals
• Working knowledge of drafting and modeling software such as AutoCAD and / or Solidworks
• Experience working with capital project scope development and justification preferred
• Knowledge of CNC programming, automation, and robotic applications preferred
• Knowledge dealing with complex manufacturing situations, hardware specifications, quality standards, product development, CAD / CAM, and technical specifications
