Job Description
MCC is looking for a Press Assistant to join their team. The Press Assistant role is responsible for the set up and support of printing presses in accordance with the printing specifications and customer requirements/expectations.
Requirements
- Comply with all company and safety policies and procedures
- Assist in the performance of all external make-ready operations in preparation for changeover activities
- Assist in the performance of all external clean-up activities following changeover
- Cleans ink pans and ancillary equipment
- Strips plates from cylinders
- Locates dies to and from press
- May be required to work with press operator to view labels with assistance of strobe light
- Comply with quality assurance specifications of the customer and MCC
- Responsible for cleanliness of machinery and organization of the workspace
- Responsible for working overtime when needed and as assigned
- Related duties as assigned
