CT Technologist (Evening Shift)

MultiCare is hiring a CT Technologist for an evening shift position at Yakima Memorial Hospital. The job involves performing CT examinations, interpreting data, and providing patient care. The ideal candidate will have a graduate degree in radiologic technology and 2 years of experience in CT.

Requirements

• Performance of CT procedures per established protocols
• Interprets data gathered in assessment and provides care appropriate to age related needs
• Position and handle patients with a high degree of professional ethics, care, tact, courtesy, patience and safety
• Critiques images to ensure quality CT examinations consistent with standardized procedures
• Administer I-Stat testing as appropriate
• Administer IV radiopharmaceuticals and/or contrast materials following established department policies and procedures
• First aid administration and adverse reaction response
• Radiation dosage measurement and record-keeping
• Image review and data accuracy
• Quality assurance and regulatory compliance
• Equipment operation and maintenance
• Supply and equipment utilization
• Training and instruction of new personnel
• Exploration of new equipment and services
• Other related duties as assigned
