Multiply Labs is a cutting-edge startup that aims to make life-saving therapies accessible to all by developing advanced robotic systems for cell therapy manufacturing. We are seeking a highly motivated scientist to contribute to the advancement and validation of our automated processes.
Requirements
- Degree in a relevant scientific discipline (e.g., cell and molecular biology, biochemistry, immunology, biomedical engineering)
- Proficiency in an experimental biology laboratory, including hands-on experience performing experiments, data analysis and interpretation of results, and ability to plan and execute experiments independently
- Expertise in common laboratory techniques (e.g., cell culture, media preparation)
- Familiarity with standard safety procedures and sterile techniques (e.g., proper PPE, aseptic handling)
- Ability to troubleshoot experimental issues and technical failures
- Proficiency in aseptic techniques, including working efficiently within a Biological Safety Cabinet (BSC)
- Proficiency in human blood processing, including handling and manipulating whole blood or apheresis-collected components
- Proficiency in T cell isolation from peripheral blood or apheresis products using both positive and negative selection methods
- Proficiency using Google Workspace for managing large collaborative data trackers and creating formal technical reports
- Proficiency using GraphPad Prism to independently perform advanced statistical tests and generate publication-quality data figures
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly convey complex scientific information
- Flexibility and adaptability in the face of changing priorities and schedules
- Organizational skills, time management, administrative, and data recording skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks, multi-task, and coordinate work tasks with others and meet multiple deadlines
- Ability to travel to international and domestic customer sites as needed
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and move comfortably in confined systems within our robotic systems
