Job Description
The Automation Technician will work with minimal supervision to perform assembly, testing, and commissioning of tooling, machine sub-assemblies, and machines. The position requires strong knowledge of packaging machine functions, diagnostics, and troubleshooting.
Requirements
- High school diploma and six years field service, packaging, maintenance, manufacturing or related experience
- Ability to respond and adjust to high stress environments and maintain professionalism
- Ability to work in a team and individual environment, motivation to achieve success
- Ability to meet customer deadlines in a fast-paced environment with constantly changing priorities
- Math ability, including speed and feed calculations, Metric and Standard calculations, basic and advanced measuring techniques
- Computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, inventory software, manufacturing software, and ERP systems
- Ability to obtain a passport for travel as required by position
