The Manager of Supply Assurance is responsible for ensuring continuity, resilience, and reliability of supply across the end-to-end supply chain by identifying supply risks, developing mitigation strategies, and working cross-functionally with various teams to protect customer service and business performance.
Requirements
- Own and execute the Supply Assurance strategy to ensure uninterrupted supply in support of customer demand, production plans, and business priorities.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate supply risks related to suppliers, materials, capacity, quality, logistics, and geopolitical or macroeconomic factors.
- Lead cross-functional response plans for supply disruptions, including shortages, supplier delays, capacity constraints, and transportation issues.
- Monitor supplier performance and capacity health, escalating risks and driving corrective actions as needed.
- Drive root cause analysis for chronic supply issues and lead implementation of sustainable corrective and preventive actions.
- Support new product introductions, sourcing transitions, and supplier changes by assessing supply readiness and risk.
- Establish and track supply assurance KPIs such as material availability, recovery lead time, supply risk exposure, and service impact.
