VP, Accounting & Corporate Controller

Mutual of Omaha Mortgage is seeking a VP, Accounting & Corporate Controller to join their team in Chicago, IL. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and experience leading and developing high-performing teams. Responsibilities include managing financial accounting processes, overseeing accounting operations, and ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP and tax law. The salary range for this position is $150,000-$170,000 annually.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Accounting
• CPA or similar professional designation
• 10+ years of progressive accounting/financial experience, with at least 2 years in a Controller or senior leadership role
• Mortgage industry experience strongly preferred
• Public accounting experience preferred
