Job Description
Pfizer is seeking a Senior Scientist ā Bioinformatics to apply bioinformatics methods to biological questions that occur during the vaccine discovery and development process. The incumbent will be expected to analyze whole genome sequence and transcript profiling data, present data at internal and external meetings, and author manuscripts in peer-reviewed scientific journals.
Requirements
- Advanced scientific degree (PhD) with minimum of 1 year of relevant post-graduate experience
- Demonstrated bioinformatics skill sets, preferably applied to infectious disease problems
- Ability to create/develop programming code a plus
