7-12 English Teacher

Mystic Valley Regional Charter School is seeking a knowledgeable and dedicated English Teacher for Grades 7–12. The ideal candidate is passionate about literature and writing instruction and is committed to delivering a rigorous, content-rich curriculum.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in English required
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to analyze data, assess student performance, and adjust instruction accordingly
• Demonstrated ability to build positive, professional relationships with students, families, and colleagues
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to contribute to a team-oriented environment
• Deep content knowledge in English language arts and literature
• Ability to design and implement lessons aligned with school and curricular goals
• Experience evaluating student performance and writing clear, data-informed reports
• Successful completion of applicable MTEL exams within one year of employment
