K-12 Grade Science Teacher

Mystic Valley Regional Charter School is seeking a knowledgeable and dedicated Science Teacher to implement its Science program for students in Grades K–12. Instruction is delivered in alignment with the Core Knowledge curriculum and methodology. At the high school level, MVRCS offers the rigorous and internationally recognized International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme, and teaching assignments may include IB coursework.

Requirements

• Implement the Science curriculum in accordance with established Core Knowledge and, where applicable, IB standards
• Teach up to five sections of science courses, each meeting daily
• Design and deliver lessons and units grounded in clear, measurable learning objectives
• Assess student progress regularly and provide timely feedback through progress reports and report cards
• Administer standardized assessments as directed by the Science Department Chair and Leadership Team
