Job Description
Supervise Press and Stamping operations, cost justify refurbishment/expansion projects, and procure equipment. Must have experience with Stamping processes, problem solving, and knowledge of blueprints and GD&T.
Requirements
- BS in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering or equivalent work experience
- Relevant experience with Stamping processes on progressive and universal dies
- Proficient in problem solving (8Ds, Ishikawa, Red-X, etc)
- Ability to read, understand and suggest corrections to blueprints
- Knowledge of Stamping Press, Die Manufacturing and/or Automation Equipment
- Thorough understanding of GD&T (Geometrical Dimensioning & Tolerances)
- Automotive or automotive supplier experience
- Interest in 'Hands-On' Engineering
