Job Description
Nabis is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Head of Data to lead and grow its nascent Data Team. The candidate will report directly to the Director of Engineering and will be instrumental in transforming raw data into actionable insights that drive business strategy and product development.
Requirements
- 5+ years of progressive experience in Data Science, Data Analysis, or a related quantitative field
- Expert proficiency in SQL and a programming language commonly used in data science (e.g., Python or R)
- Demonstrated experience designing and implementing statistical models, machine learning models, and large-scale data analyses
- Familiarity with modern data warehousing and ETL concepts (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, DBT)
- Strong experience with visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker)
- 2+ years of formal or informal experience leading projects, mentoring junior analysts/scientists, or functioning as a technical lead
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex analytical findings to both highly technical and executive audiences
