NAC International is seeking a detail-oriented Project Engineer with strong problem-solving skills to join our growing team at our Peachtree Corners, GA headquarters. This role offers hands-on exposure to regulated nuclear engineering projects and is well suited for an early-career engineer seeking to build strong technical, regulatory, and project execution skills in a mission-driven environment.
Requirements
- Bachelorâs degree in mechanical engineering, nuclear engineering, or equivalent engineering-related field required.
- 2-5 years of relevant experience (internships or co-op experience accepted).
- Exposure to cask design, spent fuel transport/storage, or other U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commissionâregulated industries is preferred.
- Familiarity with U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) regulations, regulatory guides, applicable Nuclear Regulatory Commission Reports (NUREGs), and American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) Codes is a plus.
- Working knowledge of basic project management concepts, scheduling, spreadsheets, and Microsoft Office tools.
- Strong analytical, problemâsolving, and criticalâthinking skills with attention to detail.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate within a team environment.
- Eagerness to learn, take initiative, and grow professionally in a highly regulated technical field.
