Job Description
The Transmission Outage Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Gridforce System Operators and other members of the Transmission Outage Coordination team with coordinating outages that maintain the reliability of the Bulk Electric System (BES) during planned and unplanned outages.
Requirements
- Minimum bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field
- At least 5 years' experience in transmission operations at the Bulk Electric System level
- Knowledge of system protection and controls
- Working knowledge of or experience in power plant operations, I & C technician, substation operations, electrician or equivalent
- Familiarity with Energy Management systems and associated support systems
