Job Description
Marine Operations Superintendent responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective operation of vessels, compliance with regulatory requirements, and effective implementation of navigation, seamanship, and cargo handling policies. The role requires experience as a Master on LNG/LPG or crude/oil carriers and a head office management position in a large gas/oil shipping company.
Requirements
- Degree in Nautical Science or related field
- Master Mariner Certificate of competence
- 8-12 years' experience as a Master on LNG/LPG or crude/oil carriers
- 3 years' experience in a head office management position
- Experience of working with personnel from different cultures
- Auditing skills - Lead ISO, ISM, ISPS auditor
- Computer literate - Microsoft suite of products
