Assistant Manager, Student Administration role plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth administration and operational excellence of the Turing AI Scholars Programme (TAISP). The role involves managing student enquiries, course registration, leave of absence applications, and providing advisory support to scholars on academic progression and graduation matters. The role also involves administering research programmes, including Undergraduate Research Experience on Campus (URECA) projects and Final Year Project (FYP) administration.
Requirements
- Manage and respond to TAISP students' enquiries on academic, administrative, and programme-related matters
- Oversee course registration processes for TAISP scholars
- Process and manage Leave of Absence (LOA) applications and waiver requests
- Coordinate campus housing matters for TAISP scholars
- Maintain accurate student records and documentation
- Administer and coordinate Undergraduate Research Experience on Campus (URECA) projects
- Oversee Final Year Project (FYP) administration
- Support ad-hoc research initiatives and opportunities
- Liaise with faculty supervisors, research labs, and academic departments
- Coordinate research-related events and presentations
- Process research-related claims, funding requests, and administrative documentation
- Support publicity efforts for the TAISP programme
- Assist in organizing outreach events, open houses, and recruitment activities
- Coordinate student engagement activities and community-building initiatives
- Manage programme website content and social media presence
- Develop and maintain promotional materials
- Organize scholar sharing sessions and networking events
- Support planning and execution of TAISP signature events and milestone celebrations
- Coordinate with the College's Outreach and Publicity Team
- Collect and document student testimonials, success stories, and programme highlights
