The National Institute of Education invites applications for a 12-month contract as a Research Assistant on a project evaluating the effectiveness of the Test Anxiety Survivors' Education-Revised (TASE-R) Program on test anxiety and well-being among secondary and junior college students in Singapore.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with Honors in Psychology
- Experience with conducting psychological and educational research, especially in implementing psychosocial intervention programs with youths.
- Experience in project management for at least 2 years after graduation, preferably in the field of education or psychology, research and analysis
- Experience in data collection
- Strong skills to conduct quantitative data analysis using various data analytic tools (e.g., Mplus, SPSS, R Studio etc.)
- Excellent interpersonal, collaborative, written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with the Singapore education system (mainstream secondary schools & JCs)
- Good organizational skills and able to work within tight deadlines
- Demonstrated excellence in scientific writing, supported by published papers, relative to the candidate’s post-degree research experience
