Research Associate (Electrical & Electronics)

Established in 2010, the Energy Research Institute @ NTU (ERI@N) is seeking a Research Associate to work on a tidal project, gaining hands-on experience with drivetrain development, control system design, electrical machine health monitoring, and other electrical circuits.

Requirements

• Design of power system facilities and equipment
• Apply knowledge of electric utility power systems to assist the team with performing detailed analysis on electric infrastructure and provide solutions
• Experience in electrical schema/architecture designs
• Possess a master’s degree in electrical/Power engineering or any related or advanced degree
• Good knowledge of Matlab/Simulink modelling, control system design and PLC programming
• Knowledge of electrical machine health monitoring
• A hands-on attitude towards Electrical machines like Generators, Motors and other relevant devices
