Research Associate/Research Fellow (Plant Biology and Bioinformatics)

The School of Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology at NTU Singapore is seeking a Research Associate/Research Fellow to develop advanced high throughput phenotyping tools for indoor farming systems. The successful candidate will be working in a multinational team at the forefront of Singapore’s agricultural innovation and food security.

Requirements

• Develop high throughput phenotyping protocols for testing nutrient deficiency responses, transpiration response, biomass accumulation, and quality of produce
• Develop analysis tools for the large data stream of HTP phenotyping for assessment of abiotic and biotic stress tolerance
• Develop prediction models that can predict product yield and quality from HTP data
• Set up test of products from other work packages
• Document results and contribute to reports, publications, and presentations
