Research Fellow (Computational Chemistry)

The Research Fellow (Computational Chemistry) position at the School of Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology at NTU is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Fellow to design and execute independent and collaborative research projects, develop novel computational algorithms, and contribute to high-quality publication and grant-related activities in computational chemistry and peptide drugs via machine learning and molecular dynamics simulations.

Requirements

• PhD in Chemistry with a focus on computational/peptide/organic/machine learning or a closely related discipline
• At least one first-author publication in high-quality peer-reviewed journals
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently
• Experience with mentoring students and working effectively in a team-based research environment
• Proficiency in common computational chemistry software and coding techniques e.g. Gaussian/Amber/Schrödinger/python/bash
