Research Fellow (Experimental Psychology/Neuroscience)

We are seeking a Research Fellow to join our inter-disciplinary Science of Learning research team at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. The successful candidate will play a key role in a multidisciplinary research project aimed at the early identification of mathematical learning difficulties in young children. The role involves supporting the day-to-day coordination of the project, conducting data collection with children, and contributing to the development of machine learning and deep learning models for early prediction.

Requirements

• Doctoral degree (PhD) in experimental psychology, biopsychology, cognitive psychology, educational neuroscience, NeuroAI, neuropsychology, neurology, psychiatry, cognitive neuroscience, AI in education, deep learning, biomedical engineering, computer science, and related fields
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Good statistical knowledge and skills, including familiarity with statistical analysis tools (e.g., SPSS, R, Jamovi and JASP)
• Familiarity with neuroimaging software (e.g., SPM, AFNI, FSL)
• Familiar with coding (e.g., in R, MATLAB, Python)
• Experience with research project management
• Good leadership skills
