Job Description
Narvar is hiring an Engineering Manager to partner with the product team to develop experiences for clients and their end consumers. The role involves leading complex technical projects, growing and mentoring a high-performing team, and being an integral part of the hiring process.
Requirements
- 12+ years of experience as a professional software engineer building, scaling and extending SaaS products
- 3+ years managing technical architecture & design and leading initiatives from inception to delivery
- Previous startup experience strongly preferred
- Hands-on experience in several general purpose languages
- Extensive experience designing, building, and integrating with RESTful APIs
- Experience with building and scaling relational and NoSQL database platforms
- Experience with cloud computing platforms like Amazon AWS or Google Cloud Platform
- Experience building high volume, high performance, and highly available products
- Experience leading Agile teams with a focus on incremental delivery and improvement
- Strong willingness and desire to both learn and mentor
