Registered Nurse - OR

Nashville General Hospital is hiring a Full Time Registered Nurse (RN) for the Operating Room Unit (OR) in Nashville, Tennessee. The ideal candidate will provide quality care to every patient and family member and maintain a sterile environment. As a Operating Room RN, responsibilities include assessing patient's condition, operating technical equipment, and educating patients on best practices for recovery.

Requirements

• Assessing patient condition and noting it accurately according to the facility's charting practices
• Understanding applicable state regulations and following compliance practices
• Graduate of an accredited associate degree, Diploma, or Baccalaureate Degree program in Nursing
• Current Licensure or permit to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Tennessee or compact state
• BLS required. ACLS preferred
• One year of clinical nursing and Operating Room (OR) preferred
• Certified Post Anesthesia Nurse (CPAN) and Certified Ambulatory Perianesthesia Nurse (CAPA) preferred
