Job Description
The Director, Facility Operations is responsible for overseeing the hiring, training, and management of the Operations department for full-time and part-time staff at the Ford Ice Center. The position requires a Certified Ice Technician with a minimum of 5 years of experience in public assembly facility management and a strong understanding of ice installation, preparation, and maintenance.
Requirements
- Certified Ice Technician
- Graduate from an accredited college or vocational school with an emphasis in sports administration, industrial engineering, or another related field
- Minimum of 5 years related experience in public assembly facility management
- 2 years of experience in a similar supervisory or management position
- Possess basic working knowledge of facilities including HVAC, electrical, lighting, audio visual, and mechanical systems
- Proficiency in current computer software (Excel, Word, Access, CAD) required
