Job Description
The Part-Time Referee position at Ford Ice Center Clarksville is responsible for officiating hockey games and maintaining order during play. The position requires knowledge of USA Hockey rules and regulations, strong verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure.
Requirements
- Must be 16 years old
- Must have a Level 1 USA Hockey officiating certification at the minimum
- Knowledge of the hockey community in the Middle Tennessee area
- Skating experience required
- Must be detailed oriented and be able to focus on multiple tasks at once
- Must have strong verbal and written communication
- Must have a skating ability above or equal to that of the level of game they are officiating
- Must be strong skaters and continue to maintain their ability in comparison to the players they are officiating
- Valid driver’s license
- Suitable driving history and be insurable by SS&E’s insurance carrier (without conditions)
