Manufacturing Setup Tech - Machine Operator on day and overnight shift

Nashville Wire Products is hiring a Manufacturing Setup Tech - Machine Operator for day and overnight shifts. Responsibilities include machine set-ups, operating equipment, training others, maintenance, and quality inspections.

Requirements

• Performs machine set-ups within established standards and makes necessary adjustments
• Operates automated welding and metal forming equipment
• Trains others how to safely operate machinery
• Performs and/or assists with preventive, minor, and major maintenance functions
• Conducts quality inspections to verify parts meet blueprint specifications
• Keeps accurate counts of production parts ran through machinery
• Has recent steady work history with experience performing computer and mechanical machine set ups and troubleshooting
• Has mechanical aptitude and ability to perform basic mathematical functions
• Has prior experience interpreting blueprints and reading tape measure
• Has prior experience with computer operated equipment
