OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST

This occupational therapist position involves evaluating, planning, directing, and administering occupational therapy treatments to patients under the supervision of a licensed physician. The role involves assessing patients, developing teaching plans, and ensuring patient safety and well-being while supporting their recovery. Interacting with patients, families, and other team members is also crucial.

Requirements

• Degree from a school or college approved by the American Occupational Therapy Association required.
• Current certificate as Certified Occupational Therapy required.
• Current BCLS certification required.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Basic knowledge of physical medicine, occupational therapy modalities, anatomy and physiology.
• Basic knowledge of physical therapy machine operation, maintenance and repairs.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong reading and writing skills.
