National Airlines seeks a Base Aircraft Maintenance Technician to perform aircraft maintenance, inspections, and repairs in accordance with FAA regulations and company policies. The successful candidate will have a valid Airframe & Powerplant Certificate and experience on commercial aircraft types.
Requirements
- Review aircraft log entries with flight personnel
- Perform all duties in compliance with General Maintenance Manual, Company policy and all applicable FAA and DOT regulations
- Stand, stoop, and maneuver into small or awkward places and positions to perform, repair, maintenance, overhaul, and inspection of assigned equipment, components, and aircraft
- Troubleshoot system(s), disassembling, repair and reassemble sections and components to maintain full functioning equipment
- Maintain work areas, vehicles, and materials in a clean and safe condition
- Accountable for the quality of the work the individual performs
- Maintain current inventory of flyaway kits, including serviceable parts, unserviceable parts, and tools
- Properly care for and use tooling and equipment used for aircraft maintenance
- Notify the Maintenance Supervisor and all other appropriate Team Members of any condition that would compromise the airworthiness of National Airlines aircraft
- Perform other duties and tasks as assigned by Maintenance Leadership
