Job Description
The NEA Internship Program provides interns with training, learning opportunities, educational activities and exposure to a variety of rich and substantive programmatic experiences that support quality public education.
Requirements
- Research and monitor federal legislation that impact public education, including tracking Congressional hearings and markups.
- Support NEA Federal Lobbyists on a number of projects that advance NEA's Legislative Program.
- Assist in preparing policy briefs, memos, and other legislative reports.
Benefits
- Stipend of $20 per hour
- Maximum internship hours: 20 hours per week
