Job Description
National Geographic Society is seeking a VP, Land & Wildlife (Science & Innovation Programs) to lead a strategic portfolio of high-profile programs and grants in land and wildlife conservation. The successful candidate will have extensive non-profit leadership experience, deep subject matter expertise in conservation, and a proven track record of program management and team leadership.
Requirements
- Master's degree in a wildlife conservation or land conservation context with field experience and non-profit leadership experience
- 7+ years of management experience including leading a team of direct reports and 15+ years of discipline
- Extensive non-profit leadership experience
- Demonstrated experience in project or program management
- Experience leading diverse and matrixed teams
