The Behavior Support Special Education Teacher provides direct instruction and support services to students with social, emotional, and behavioral skill development needs. They assist general education classroom teachers with behavior intervention strategies and implementation of behavior intervention plans.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum of three years of successful classroom teaching experience
- Valid TSPC endorsement in special education, or willingness and ability to obtain
- Masters Degree in Special Education, School Psychology, or Counseling (preferred)
- Experience with ENVoY/Collaborative Problem Solving/AVID or related strategies (preferred)
- Experience with students with behavior needs (preferred)
- Bilingual Spanish (preferred)
