National Interstate is a leading commercial transportation insurer seeking an Associate Underwriter I to join their team. The role involves reviewing and evaluating applications, working closely with underwriters and brokers, and maintaining underwriting files. The team works a hybrid schedule with four days on-site and one day remote.
Requirements
- Associates Degree in Business, Finance, or a related field or equivalent experience
- Foundational written and verbal skills
- Working knowledge of coverage and forms, provisions for policies written within the assigned territory/unit, workflow and systems
