Job Description
The Director, Foundation Relations is responsible for developing and managing a portfolio of 50-100 foundation partnerships to support organizational revenue goals and growth. The role involves identifying, cultivating, and stewarding foundation partners, with a strong focus on prospecting and securing new funding sources.
Requirements
- Build a pipeline of foundation prospects
- Independently manage a portfolio of foundation partners
- Execute portfolio management and revenue growth strategies
- Oversee the planning, development, and submission of grant proposals and cases for support
- Utilize foundation prospecting tools to identify and build relationships with new foundation prospects
- Develop entrepreneurial strategies to grow existing portfolio and foundation revenue
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align foundation strategies and support integrated fundraising efforts
- Maintain efficient processes for grant tracking, reporting, and database management
- Use CRM tools to maintain an accurate and up-to-date donor database
