Job Description
The Special Events Intern will support the overall event planning and implementation for the chapter’s fundraising events – Climb to the Top, Walk MS, Bike MS and MuckFest MS. The intern will provide direct and crucial support to the Development Department’s efforts to increase awareness, funding and participation in the chapter’s 14-county service area.
Requirements
- Ideal candidate has an interest in event planning, marketing, communications, or philanthropy
- Excellent communication skills, including writing, proof reading skills and speaking
- Proficient use of the latest versions of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and internet research skills
