Job Description
The Accounts Receivable Representative is responsible for collecting outstanding accounts receivable from patients and third-party payers, including phone insurance companies, processing claims, and working with patients for payment arrangements.
Requirements
- High-school graduate or equivalent
- Two years of collection experience required
- Prefer experience in a health care organization
- Knowledge of CPT, ICD-10 and ASA codes
- Basic math skills for calculating anesthesia units and proper reimbursement
