Generator Technician

National Power is accepting applications for a Generator Service Technician to perform maintenance and repair of generator sets and other electrical equipment.

Requirements

• HS Diploma required
• Associate degree in an electrical/mechanical related field preferred
• Current Generac Power Systems certification preferred
• US Air Force Electrical Power Production Specialist, US Navy Electrician’s Mate, or Generator and/or UPS field service technician preferred
• Excellent communication skills and ability to give verbal/written reports
• Ability to account for time spent on jobs and travel
• Excellent driving record and valid driver’s license
• Good computer skills and comfort with Microsoft software
• Ability to work from home and maintain security of Company property
• Ability to manage difficult or emotional customer situations
