Job Description
School Bus Attendants are responsible for assisting students and maintaining a safe environment while riding on school buses. This includes student assistance with boarding/deboarding, maintaining vehicle cleanliness, and ensuring safety regulations are followed. They will also report to duty on time and perform assigned tasks as instructed.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must meet physical requirements (lifting, pulling, bending, carrying, etc.)
- High level of attention to detail
- Ability to relate to and work with children
- Ability to maintain effective pupil behavior management
- High level of professionalism and diplomacy skills
- Ability to lift and assist students when necessary
