Job Description
Asheville Veterinary Associates is seeking an experienced veterinarian to serve as Medical Director. The Medical Director will lead the team and provide strategic medical leadership and oversight for all veterinary operations.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from an accredited university
- Current North Carolina veterinary license in good standing
- Minimum of 5 years clinical experience
- Previous leadership or management experience required
- Strong surgical and medical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Demonstrated team leadership and development capabilities
- Interest in or experience with integrative medicine approaches
- Business acumen and financial management skills
