Bilingual Home Visitor

The Bilingual Home Visitor is responsible for implementing the New Beginnings Home Visiting Program, providing parent education and supportive services to at-risk families in the Chicago area. The program aims to assist families in developing skills and strategies to support the healthy development of their young children (0-3 years of age).

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Education, or Psychology from an accredited school preferred. Bachelor’s degree required.
• At least 3 years of professional experience working with low-income, at-risk families, and familiarity with evidence-based intervention programs (EBI).
• Trained on Parents as Teachers (PAT) curriculum preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish fluency required.
• Proficient use of desktop and laptop computers, smart phones, tablets, printers, fax machines, and photocopiers as well as software including word processing, spreadsheet, and database programs.
