Bilingual Medical Coordinator

The Medical Coordinator for La Jornada will arrange and coordinate medical services for children in care, including urgent, emergent, and preventive health care. The Medical Coordinator will provide a positive medical environment and ensure confidentiality of health records.

Requirements

• Licensed Practical or Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) or higher health-related qualification
• Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish
• Minimum of 1 year of employment in public health or a healthcare setting
• 1 year of experience working in the child welfare field
• Valid driver's license, excellent driving record, safe and clean personal vehicle, and current automobile insurance
• Proficient use of desktop and laptop computers, smart phones and tablets, printers, fax machines and photocopiers
• Software skills including word processing, spreadsheet and database programs
