The Medical Coordinator for La Jornada will arrange and coordinate medical services for children in care, including urgent, emergent, and preventive health care. The Medical Coordinator will provide a positive medical environment and ensure confidentiality of health records.
Requirements
- Licensed Practical or Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) or higher health-related qualification
- Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish
- Minimum of 1 year of employment in public health or a healthcare setting
- 1 year of experience working in the child welfare field
- Valid driver's license, excellent driving record, safe and clean personal vehicle, and current automobile insurance
- Proficient use of desktop and laptop computers, smart phones and tablets, printers, fax machines and photocopiers
- Software skills including word processing, spreadsheet and database programs
