Job Description
The Crisis Intervention Specialist will work alongside first responders to provide on-site crisis intervention, de-escalation, and stabilization services for adults and children experiencing or who are at risk for experiencing a behavioral health crisis.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in social work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field from a CSWE accredited college or university
- Previous experience in crisis response, substance abuse, juvenile justice, advocacy, mental health, or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable personal transportation
- Good driving record
- Minimum automobile insurance coverage of $100,000/$300,000 bodily injury liability
