NYAP's Educator will maintain a positive and appropriate educational environment, creating a program that meets the cognitive and emotional needs of all children. The Educator will work closely with the Assistant Educator/s to ensure the program provides education, physical health, emotional well-being, and parental involvement services to all enrolled students.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in early childhood education or Elementary Education
- Willingness to obtain TESL certification
- 2+ years' experience in teaching capacity and lesson planning
- Passionate about the development and well-being of children
- Able to pass a criminal background check
- 21 years of age, a valid state driver's license, reliable personal vehicle, and a good driving record
- Bilingual (English Spanish)
- Proficient use of desktop and laptop computers, internet search, people management programs, smart phones and tablets, printers, fax machines and photocopiers as well as software including word processing, spreadsheet and database programs
