Nationwide is seeking a Consultant, Loss Control to provide services to influence profitability and retention, create and recommend service objectives, and identify hazards and exposures. The ideal candidate will have multi-line commercial insurance industry experience, a strong understanding of safety and risk management practices, and excellent communication skills.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in safety, science, engineering, fire protection or construction management
- Minimum of one designation, such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Director of Safety (CDS) or Associate of Risk Management (ARM)
- 10 or more years of commercial loss control or related experience
- General knowledge of safety and risk management practices and principles
- Ability to market services and influence others
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize work and time
