Job Description
Packaging Technician (Challenger Plant) - maintaining high sanitary standards, operating packaging machines, and meeting quality specifications. Job involves working 2nd shift hours, 3:00pm - 1:00am, Monday - Thursday.
Requirements
- Maintaining high sanitary standards throughout the preparation, set-up, and operation of the designated jobs
- Meeting the high quality packaging specifications within a safe work environment
- Operating and monitoring assigned machine(s) to detect product defects
- Performing job duties within the established quality control guidelines
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness of work space, equipment, and materials
- Producing finished goods that are defect-free, properly identified, and within the established standards
- Utilizing hand tools, power tools, pallet jacks, and other tools as required
- Notifying Supervisor or Manager of any discrepancies arising
