Job Description
This part-time appointment for an Adjunct Faculty position at Navarro College is centered around teaching developmental math classes. Instructors must dedicate primary energies to student service, maintaining classroom order, and upholding institutional policies. Instructors are responsible for student-centered learning, quality teaching, and clear communication with students and colleagues. No scheduling changes are allowed without explicit approval from the Dean or Administrator.
Requirements
- Teaching experience is preferred.
- Understanding of student learning and assessment practices is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Math or related field, OR Bachelor’s degree with 18+ hours in Math + related subjects.
- Texas teaching certification required for teaching Math.
