Job Description
This part-time Adjunct Faculty position teaches welding courses to students at Navarro College campuses. The position requires dedication to student success and maintaining classroom standards, including communication with students, using designated textbooks, and complying with FERPA regulations. Instructors are expected to improve course quality and provide thoughtful learning experiences.
Requirements
- NCCER Instructor Certification or equivalent
- Welding proficiency, proficiently using multiple processes
- Five (5) years of related, non-teaching work experience OR Three (3) years of non-teaching work experience OR Bachelor's degree in Welding, Machining, Industrial Technology, Metallurgy or related field
- Strong human relations and student-oriented skills
