Job Description
The Part-Time Advising Assistant will provide student support, assist with administrative duties, and contribute to the promotion of student advising at Navarro College. This role involves assisting with scheduling, administrative tasks, and creating promotional materials. The position is directly supervised by the Director of Retention and Success and focuses on student success.
Requirements
- Provide courteous, accurate, and professional assistance to students, faculty, staff, and the community.
- Assist students with scheduling and the use of Colleague by Ellucian.
- Assist with administrative duties such as answering phones, filing, and photocopying.
- Assist team members with creating promotional materials and updating forms.
- Ability to utilize computer technology to access information and communicate effectively.
