Senior Software Engineer (C++ and Python) (F/M/D)

Join the Mapping and Perception Team at NavVis and create software solutions for mapping entire buildings and creating realistic 3D representations. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will work on our pipeline, from raw sensor data to the generation of point clouds, panoramic images and maps. You will also collaborate with the cloud team to move our applications into cloud infrastructure and analyze and improve our applications for efficiency, scalability, and stability.

Requirements

• Master's degree or PhD in computer science, information systems, or similar
• At least 5 years' experience as a Software Engineer
• Strong coding skills and proven experience in Python and C++
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns
• Extensive experience in deploying software across a variety of platforms, operating systems and cloud infrastructure
• A strong communicator who enjoys collaborating with people and mentoring junior developers
• Passionate about software design and development with a strong interest in agile methodologies
• Willing and able to familiarize yourself with challenging new topics and tasks
• Fluency in English
