Senior Software Engineer Python & AWS (F/M/D)

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Cloud Processing Team in Munich. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and testing cloud applications on Amazon's AWS platform. You will work closely with our operational and software engineering teams to deliver top-class mapping solutions that aim to digitize physical spaces through the creation of photorealistic digital twins.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering and development in multi-language, multi-system environments.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience building and deploying cloud applications on AWS, with strong knowledge of: Lambda, Batch, ECS & Step Functions, IAM, SQS, CloudWatch & DynamoDB, API Gateway, EventBridge, Glue & Athena, SAM & CloudFormation
• Proficiency in Python for backend development and scripting.
• Strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as AWS CloudFormation, AWS CDK, Terraform, or similar.
• Experience deploying and running software at scale, including familiarity with debugging, monitoring tools, and profilers.
