Job Description
Junior Fixed Asset accountant is responsible for maintaining accurate asset records, processing additions and disposals, and ensuring compliance with accounting policies and internal controls.
Requirements
- Maintain the fixed asset register
- Process capitalization of assets
- Assist with calculation and posting of monthly depreciation and amortization
- Ensure proper classification of assets
- Support monthly close activities
- Prepare schedules and analysis for balance sheet accounts
- Assist in preparing reports
